The Wildness of our Wishes

Whenever we use our imagination to envision something in the future, we often find ourselves painting wishes and dreams that we want to bring into our lives. However, we should approach this with a great deal of mindfulness because what we wish for and how we act afterward will likely be what we receive.

I want to embark on a small journey with you through the wilderness of your wishes and provide you with tools that empower you to act according to your desired world, to create it and make it a reality. So let’s begin this expedition of wishing and see what wishing is all about it.

CHAPTER 1

The Flight of the Eagle –
Positivity and Motivation

It is a profound expedition into the boundless expanse of the skies and the space within your unexplored inner world. You may wonder about the significance of this title.

It’s all about freedom – the liberty to unfurl your wings and declare:

‘I embrace everything that comes my way with the most positive outlook. I am motivated to pursue my deepest wishes.’

Envision it as the unswerving focus of an eagle as it locks onto its prey. Positively driven, poised for a daring plunge into the uncharted. That’s precisely the spirit with which you should embrace your own journey.

So, keep in mind that wishes should be both motivating and positively articulated. The potency of your words mirrors the majestic flight of the eagle, steadfastly advancing towards its goal with confidence and resolve. Transform your wishes into lucid, positive affirmations that not only motivate but also empower you to chart your own course through the challenges of the vast wilderness of possibilities.

CHAPTER 2

The Farsightedness of the Owl –
Perspective Change and Flexibility

When one thinks of an owl, the vigilant and sharp eyes immediately come to mind, keeping watch from the tree, overseeing its surroundings. But it also possesses the impressive ability to turn its head very far, allowing it to continually adopt new perspectives, up to a rotation of nearly 270 degrees without moving its body.

These owl characteristics carry an important message for us. It’s about not just closely examining external circumstances but also utilizing the ability to change our standpoint and consider things from different angles.

How amazing would it be to approach a challenge not just with a 180-degree turnaround but with a 270-degree shift in perspective?

This means responding flexibly to challenges and overcoming doubts. The concept of setting realistic goals takes a central place here. It involves not allowing doubts to paralyze us but actively confronting our own desires.

Utilizing foresight to see our dreams and goals more clearly and approaching them with a wise perspective. By internalizing these qualities, we can navigate the world with greater clarity and determination.

And without breaking our own necks (a metaphor for not being overwhelmed by challenges), turning our heads to see other viewpoints. Because most challenges do not unravel in the same way they were created.

Chapter 3

The Fox’s Path –
Intuition and Listening to yourself

The Fox’s Path leads us into the realm of intuition.

It’s about listening to that inner voice, utilizing the special observational skills that the fox employs during its silent hunt. The quiet whisper of intuition is often only faintly audible. Yet, if you listen closely, you’ll discover that something extremely intriguing emerges – an unexpected twist that unfolds.

Much like the fox and its silent hunt, the act of sneaking up on intuition establishes a skill. It’s about listening to oneself and adapting in every moment, while simultaneously holding firm and saying,

‘No, I’m listening to myself now.’

In this way, you’ll quickly find yourself stepping onto a completely different level.

The art of adaptability and trusting our inner impulses. It’s a journey that encourages us to engage with determination in the unknown by listening to our own intuition and moving closer to ourselves through quiet yet powerful decisions.

Chapter 4

The Flutter of the Butterfly’s Wings –
Transformation of hindering beliefs

Every day, various factors surround us, changing us, redirecting us onto different paths, and resetting our internal compass. Some factors help us, while others lead us away from the chosen path.

Let’s anchor the butterfly as a symbol of transformation, a life journey that leads through different phases and ultimately results in a colorful being taking flight through the process of pupation and emergence. However, during this process, certain things can cause delays or even bring it to a standstill. We often refer to these as negative beliefs that hinder our ability to fly.

The key is to replace these hindering beliefs, those notions you once thought to be true or have long convinced yourself to be true, with affirmations or dissolve them through different behaviors and thought patterns. It takes time, requires patience – it’s a process that is entirely normal and acceptable.

But going through this process will eventually lead you to live your diversity, express your individuality, and not let these limits hold you back.

Here’s a tiny fact:

Butterflies can’t see their own wings. Perhaps it’s the same for you. You might not see that you can fly. But rest assured, you can fly.

CHAPTER 5

The elephant’s journey
forgiveness

Majestic with a calm demeanor is how one can imagine this animal.

It’s about the energy of forgiveness, towards oneself and towards other people, but especially towards oneself. Often, we are our own harshest critic. In the past few days, I found myself thinking,

‘Why am I being so hard on myself in certain areas? Come on, I forgive myself for that.’

It’s a part of me, and there are always fragments within me that need to be resolved. For that, I need a high level of self-love, which takes time. That’s okay.

So why the metaphor of the elephant’s journey?

There are clear indications and sightings that elephants can forgive after traumatic experiences with their own kind. That’s why we should try to recognize the elephant within ourselves more often. To say: ‘Hey, this is how it is, I let it be, and I forgive.’

Having inner greatness, especially accepting one’s own weaker moments and forgiving oneself for them, is one of the greatest strengths. This is a crucial step in bringing one’s desired reality to life.

CHAPTER 6

The Plumage of the Peacock –
Colorfulness and Uniqueness

Every time I observe a peacock, I am fascinated by the plumage it carries. How each feather looks unique and how individually crafted each of these garments is.

Therefore, I urge you to discover your own plumage in all its facets, without holding back.

Live the vibrancy of yourself, your uniqueness. Showcase your dance, who you are. Display your plumage and say, ‘These are my colors. I am vivid. And I show it to the world.’

It’s intriguing to note, just like the peacock’s plumage changes color depending on how the light falls. Therefore, you don’t have to decide on one color and stick with it for your entire life. No! Change your colors. Be your own vibrant display.

Every day anew. Wake up and say today I am… perhaps mint green, and tomorrow I am lemon yellow. Because you can decide for yourself. Always. And, reiterated, always, which color you want to show the world.

CHAPTER 7

The dance of the bee –
Positive vibes to others

Let it be said, for those of you who may not know yet:

Bees communicate in their beehive through dancing. What could be better than seeing life and the path to your desires exactly as if you were dancing like a bee in your own beehive of life? With every fiber of your being and in exchange with your surroundings, to share this feeling of lightness.

We should encounter our fellow humans with this positive energy. Believe me, it’s like the sugar rush from too much honey (to stick with the bee metaphors). This amazing navigation that bees use is to inform others about good places for the next beehive or a good food source.

Every bee in the beehive serves a purpose. Every one of them. There are no useless bees. You are also a bee. You have your own dance that you are allowed to show the world. As crazy and colorful as the peacock’s plumage. You can dance through life. There is nothing that can or should stop you because life is meant to be danced.

BEE HAPPY! BEE A DANCING BEE!

CHAPTER 8

The circulating trails of the koi –
Rituals as Steps of Happiness

Koi fish, in my imagination, are very calm beings. They swim with deliberation and grace through the water day in and day out. Often, they follow specific paths or return to familiar places. The symbolism of swimming to a trusted, safe place can be utilized as a ritual for ourselves.

It’s about the moments you create for yourself to anchor the steps of happiness you take in life. Tell yourself: “Tonight, once a week, whenever, is my moment to pause and reflect. I contemplate the diversity of my achievements, the energy I’ve invested in personal growth. I am grateful. I look back, look forward, and stay in the present.”

Through these rituals, you create stability that brings you long-term success in life. It’s about wishes. It’s about the longevity of your inner world, a consistency of inner balance. When you use rituals and repeatedly follow the circling paths of the Koi fish, these circles eventually become automatic.

Imagine it like throwing a stone into the water. It creates a circle just like the Koi fish swimming its paths. It generates waves. These waves may eventually reach other people, inspiring them to follow their wishes too. So, engage with your wishes, anchor them within yourself, live by them, and then be a light for others when you become your own Koi fish swimming its paths. Eventually, another will become one too.
