My Story
It’s time to break free from old patterns and embark on new paths every day that take you out of your comfort zone.
Until I truly lived by this statement, it took time…
Chapter one
I started early to always find unconventional ways and approach things. Often, I found myself trapped in patterns that others suggested until I realized that only I could find my own way.
Many times, this path was very unconventional, and I questioned myself often. Was this really the right thing to do? Should I do it like this?
And damn yes, I should. I began to say goodbye to friends and other things in my life, with gratitude that they were part of my journey, but it was time to leave that part behind.
After my technical college graduation, I started because I thought, well, you’re good at media design, and you want to express yourself creatively. BUT society and the job market probably need media designers with programming skills – so, let’s pursue a computer science degree.
And yes, that was purely cognitive… but I also wanted to do something for the heart, so I started a double major in computer science and Egyptology.
Fun fact: As expected, the first semester was computer science, and I thought, “Man, get out of here.” However, I still find Egyptology fascinating. I mean, how cool is it to be able to read hieroglyphs?

But at that time, I wasn’t ready to pay the price, to put in that enormous effort. To get to excavation sites and live out that Indiana Jones image with a hat and whip on adventures. So, I mean, that was my idea of being an Egyptologist.
So, I dropped out of college and did what every good student does: I traveled! Enrolled for one semester and diligently traveled the world on the side. I discovered the world, worked on farms for room and board, and realized the simplicity of life. I recognized that I don’t really need much for my life.
I discovered how beautiful it can be to meet completely strangers and find my own ways with them in new tasks, as we were thrown into the deep end together.
Working with and in nature, creating new things with it. Sometimes being without electricity for weeks and having no water connection. My affinity for outdoor life was awakened, and my spirit of adventure was gradually stirred.
